UP3P is UL listed as a secondary protector and contains self-resetting PTC to eliminate service calls. The UP3P-235 Version is designed specifically to protect Voice / Fax /Modem Lines. Protect sensitive electronics in voice and data communication systems from damage caused by transient voltages with 100% solid-state voltage protection. Current surge protection is provided through sneak current fuses or resettable PTCs. The UP3P-235 fits all 66 Type M Blocks. Features dual indicator lights-protection OK and ground OK. Provides the fastest response to transient voltages (2-5 nanoseconds) by quickly diverting damaging surges to ground and resetting. Scale the protection to the system size. Protect only the lines requiring protection. Eliminate expensive five-pin blocks while using economical 66 Blocks. Eliminate redundant cross-connects by adding protection directly at the 66 Block. Press fit protectors to the block attaching the ground bar MGB-1 to the protectors. The UP3P-235 is ideal for retrofit applications-just remove the bridging clips from the block and replace them with the UltraLinx protector. Add the ground connection and the pair is protected!
